Banyan Tree Mayakoba Hotel

Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo.
Designed as a sanctuary for the senses, the Banyan Tree Mayakoba Hotel is distinguished by its majestic villas harmoniously linked with the various ecosystems and natural surroundings of the site.

Being part of the Unidad Diseño’s team, we coordinated the analysis for integrating the Master Plan of the Hotel with Mayakoba’s resort and the dune, beach, mangrove and tropical forest ecosystems within the property, in order to take advantage and proper use of the site and the environment. The conceptual design and creative stage for the landscape design of the Hotel, the lagunar system, the "Reflections" pool, elevated docks for the Saffron signature restaurant, the main entrance, the motor lobby and bridges were coordinated. All the project was developed in coordination with the office of renowned international design firm Architrave, based in Singapore. The construction documents stage and architectural supervision on site for all exteriors and landscape of the 34acres hotel was also developed.
